Snow fun at the park

Here is a little video of my snow fun today. (I don't think that videos work on iPhones soz gang.)

Today my school was closed, apparently due to some adverse weather conditions. What does adverse mean? It's snowing that's all.

Mum had to "work from home" until 1pm. If anyone from work is reading, she wants you to know that she sent the South Africa email blast ok? I spent the time watching telly and playing.

Then as if by magic, Mum worked out that the Jonibobs, Max and Erin would be in the swing park at 2pm. After half an hour of walking and wiping the snow off the cars, or snow fixing as I called it, we got to the park.

Mum and Cal (Jonibobs's mum) got snowttacked by some awful teenagers who thought it was fun to walk right up to them and smack snowballs on their heads. Cal phoned the Park Ranger and funnily enough, the teenagers moved...

We had fun in the usual way, just with the snow and two spades that Max and Erin brought along. Erin had wet tootsies so went home early. We met Lucas, Johnny's friend from school who lives near us, and we trudged home with them. We managed three hours in the snow today, three hours yes! And the tears only started five minutes from home. Even after a bath, my calves are still blue from the denim stains!

And to think that just a few months ago, we were like this...
