St Mary's May Fayre

The Puddlers met up today at St Mary's May Fayre. We rode over, me in the seat on Dad's bike, as there were too many main roads for me to ride, and Mum on her bike. We met up with Max and Poppy as soon as we got in, who were on the bouncy castle. Then the Jonibobs appeared.

It was fab running around playing with the quality camper van prizes we'd "won" from a version of Hook-a-Duck, involving fishing nets, air blowing upwards and small plastic balls. Yes I was confused too.

Here are Max and I playing with the aforementioned prizes, did you know that camper vans can climb trees?

And here is a tent supposed to hold a baby, with me and Bobert in it!

After the Jonibobs' dad had declared that he had tried 15 different types of real ale, we repaired to our "new local", the Rose in June. It is set next door almost to the prison, but we couldn't see anyone looking out of their bedroom windows at us. The pub has a fabulous garden and play area. Also there was an unbouncy castle from the party they had there yesterday. Luckily the pub man said he'd blow it up for us!

We had great fun on it, and climbing trees, and taking our shirts off. As usual. I reminded my mum of Lord of the Flies for some reason...
