The nursery dads are up to something. I asked my dad if he was going on a secret Beer O'Clock. For those of you not in the know, Beer O'Clock is 6.30pm on a Friday at a local pub which has a pirate ship outside, where the nursery grown-ups moan about their stressful weeks, and we short people run about (and fight sometimes) on said ship. It has however finished for this year, as last Friday was just warm enough.
So the beer festival, well Max was in danger of being dragged along so my mum said he could come for the afternoon. Here we are having lunch, after having played lego for two hours, allowing my mum to pretend she was ill on the sofa, oh and get some housey jobs done.
After lunch, we ventured (read dragged) over to the common to meet up with the Jonibobs, and Erin and DylanDog. We were very busy on the shore, doing something to do with history, according to Johnny. It seemed like a load of big stones were being moved from here to there, which will fox the Coast team when they come to film here again.
We had a lovely time watching the rat near Duck Lake, watching DylanDog sniff other dogs' butts, hiding in big bushes with Erin singing Strictly, and leaving our bikes for the adults to push. It was rounded off by coffee/tea for the mums and pasta for the kids at my house.
