Pub games

Beer o'clock was called last Friday, as is our custom. We duly attended. My mum had heard rumours that last week, when we were not in attendance, changes had been ringed/rung/whatever. They had sat ... wait for it ... indoors! Yes the Olds had sat indoors. The kids had still played outside of course. Now who's the silly ones? They couldn't hear the screaming indoors now could they?

So this week, we played outside for a bit. (We were a full compliment minus a Max and a Poppy.) (Whose birthday it was.) (Which we all forgot.)

Then when the girl/boy divide got worse, we played inside. We played ludo! And to prove it, as my mum was sure no one would believe me, we took the above picture. After throwing of dice and ludo counters, my mum threatened me and the Jonibobs with having to pay to replace the lost green counter and the dice with our pocket money. We looked at her horrified.

Our parents were not alerted to the late time, due to it being warm inside, and we left the pub at 8.30, a whole half hour later than usual. Wey hey!
