You may recall that Thursday Football had been cancelled (read here), but this week it started again! But not in its original form. We had a text, and the Jonibobs and Max had a phone call, saying that Portsmouth Respect's youngsters, who were being trained as trainers, needed to carry out a practical exam, which was to hold a training course. Hence they offered it to members of the younger footie club. But on a Wednesday. It matters not!
Up we turned, our mums delighted that we had some outlet on a nice mild evening for our Duracell battery like energy. Johnny didn't want to do something different, so it was me, Bob and Max.
We did some football, relay racing, croquet / target practice thingy and some other games. Bud and my mum went for a coffee so they don't know exactly what we did. My mum did tell me off for cuddling one of the nice young blonde girls too much!
We are delighted that we are doing something, even if it clashes with Park Wednesday. We now have Sport Wednesday!
