First ice of the year

Hurrah we are in the Wall of Corn for half term. As is our custom, we have to go to Looe. It was too windy to go onto the beach today. The waves were rough and the sand blew whipped up a storm. We sat by the harbour to eat our pasties (well I had a ham sarnie, I'm not that Cornish). Another Looe-must is the slotties; £3 and a dog ornament later, we re-emerged into the daylight.

After a short kerbside tea stop in the sun, I requested my first ice of the year. I declared it yummy. Grandad nearly didn't get his as Mum's hand was pecked by a swooping thieving seagull.

Back at Clinton Towers, I earned a pound helping Grandad in the garden and played in the park.

Tomorrow is Portwrinkle beach, with a cinema trip later in the week.
