The landscape of our week changed when I started junior school. No longer can we park with friends every day after school. There isn't a park directly behind school and almost everyone lives in the opposite direction.
Last week we watched a film one evening when it was too wet for Non Cricket Beer o'Clock. This evening Mum suggested we do the same. We watched Chicken Run. Mum fell asleep on the sofa. Well she does have a nasty little cold and isn't sleeping well.
She blamed that lack of sleep for burning our first pizzas. I say first as we had the second serving!
Mum says we can do this each week. It will do me good to have some down time after three days of football in a row ...
