Share'n'care with Max

Our mums made an arrangement to share'n'care, or rather share our care, over the holidays as they keep moaning that they have no one local to dump us with. I have been at Max's house before, but this was the first formal holiday share'n'care day! My dad said we could all make a train track outside in the garden. We are hard at work... ... and then Daddy stepped in and then we got to this! Wow! Daddy makes good tracks. Lunchtime I sat at the table. Max sat in the car at the table. Here is my Olive in Quaver , a new invention. A yummy addition to anyone's lunchbox, I should say. Here is Max's cheese'n'Quaver sarnie. A new addition to Max's luncheon repertoire. Introducing Captain Rex Baseball Boots (and New Ben's Blog)

After William's birthday party yesterday, my parents on a whim drove to Southampton to buy a new laptop (for dad) and an iPad (for mum). I in turn was treated to a visit to Buildabear and here is Captain Rex Baseball Boots!

Legoland!

When Dad turned 40 Nana didn't know what to buy him. The man who has everything she calls him. So she bought him tickets for Legoland for us! The appropriate day arrived in the guise of an inset day, a Friday so Mum didn't have any excuse not to come, and some rain to keep the crowds away. Two boys from school were also going. The car ride - are we there yet? Mum was fascinated by the dead trees near the Queen's house. Anyway, Legoland - wow! Here are Dad and I on the water ride, where we got REALLY wet - The Vikings' River Splash This Knight welcomed us to find the Dragon. We went on two rollercoasters, Dragon's Apprentice and The Dragon. Mum went on the first one, which was TEENY, and said she'd had enough! Atlantis Submarine Voyage - this was my Mum's favourite bit.
